The foundation has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Shri Shikshkyatan College of University of Calcutta on 12th August, 2024. The purpose was to develop joined academic, research and outreach programs in future on the occasion of the MoU ceremony students, scientists and faculty members of both the institutions were present. On the occasion the ECSF director Dr. Sourav Paul said, “we are happy to be a partner organization of the Shri Shikshkyatan College, and the alumni of this college have also represented the foundation on various research and academic platforms, this MoU would open up further opportunities for constructive academic environment for young people. On the occasion the Teacher in charge Dr. Papia Chaudhury also encouraged the partnership between the institution which initially was initiated by the Geography wings of both the foundation and the college.

MoU has been signed between the ECSF and the BKC college, West Bengal, on 7 May 2024 at BKC campus.This collaboration aims joint student and faculty exchange, educational and research ventures .On the occasion, the ECSF team members visited various departments of the college and presented the work that ECSF is conducting through its students and scientists.The MoU was proposed through the Fishery Science department of the BKC college. The principal has emphasized the need for internships, joint lectures, and hands-on training for various undergraduate and postgraguate departments. Both the parties pledged to make it our functional and meaningful collaborative activities in the future.

A Memorandum of Association has been signed between Ramnagar College, West Bengal and the Estuarine and Coastal Studies Foundation on 23.04.2024. The institutional pledged to work together for the joint ventures of student education, faculty research, hands-on on training and different outreach programs. On the occasion, faculty members and students of both institutions were present along with the respective heads of institutions. The Principal of the Ramnagar College emphasized the importance of ‘hands-on training for alternative careers beyond academia’. Dr. Paul the Director of the foundation has expressed his mind on how ‘internships and academia and industry partnerships can make students ready for either job or higher education. The IQAC coordinator of the college Dr. Himangshu Barman motivated the student pool by ’emphasizing the need of hands-on training for higher education and research’.

ECSF has signed a MoU with Kabi Nazrul College, Murarai on 22.03.2024. Two institutions would jointly probe into academic and research ventures. On the occasion of ‘World Water Day 2024’ this MoU was signed at the College campus. The program was attended by students and faculties and scientists of Kabi Nazrul College and the ECSF. On the occasion the ECSF Director Dr. Sourav Paul imparted the training of water quality to many students of lab based subjects and he urges students to practice their subject. The Principal Dr. M Singh has emphasized the need to embracing knowledge beyond books and curriculum and to remain flexible working with different stakeholders. Both the institutions are optimistic to carry out more interesting education ventures in the coming days.

The ECSF and the Durgapur Government College have entered into a MoU for five years on 19.03 2024. This was to facilitate student mobility, scientific research and joint use of resources. The said MoU also now has the scope of internship, dissertation and joint-supervision. On the occasion, the Principal Dr. Debnath Palit has mentioned the need of expanding the horizon modern education system to make students industry-ready. Dr. Paul on behalf of the ECSF has emphasized the need of practicing the subject for skill building. The occasion was graced by IQAC, departmental heads, faculty members and students of the college and the students of the ECSF. The said MoU was actively pursued by a workshop on ‘R software language: basic knowledge’ conducted by the Department of Conservation Biology where Dr. Sourav Paul (Director, ECSF) has acted as the chief resource person.

Berhampur University, Odisha and Estuarine and Coastal Studies Foundation, West Bengal have signed a MoU for joint ventures of education and research on interdisciplinary issues related to estuaries and coasts. Both parties have agreed on exchange of scientific programs related to students, faculties and scientists and are keen to host joint workshops and seminars in future. In future two institutions may mutually seek grants for conducting research along the east coasts of India. The occasion was graced by honorable Vice Chancellor, Registrar, distinguish professors and scientists of BU, anf board members of ECSF as well as the students. Both parties have agreed to set the ball rolling asap. The MoU ceremony was covered in the Oriya daily newspaper.

The foundation has entered into a MoU with BB College of Asansol, West Bengal for 5 years. The goal is to jointly conduct education and research ventures and student and faculty exchanges. To provide student supervision, conduct hands-on activities, short courses, etc. The organizations will explore jointly to fund various scientific events and research projects involving faculties and students.

The foundation, from its commitment to promote issues of Ocean among young of India, has done a partnership with the IOC-UNESCO Early Career Ocean Professional (ECOP) program of the United Nations Ocean Decade (2021-2030). The ECSF and ECOP would partner in promoting ocean literacy among various stakeholders of the society. Two partners would jointly conduct short-term courses, including internship opportunities, conduct webinars, and at times, host different in-person activities. The MoU for stands valid for this decade with a possibility of extension beyond.

Foundation has MoU with the Purbasha Eco Helpline Society, Sundarbans for education, research, and community outreach. partner organisations would jointly work towards implementation of science and policy works for betterment of socio-ecological balance of the region.

The Foundation is recognized by West Bengal State University Barasat as a partner organization for carrying out Interdisciplinary research and education. The joint program has led to PhD research collaboration for students.

The foundation has memorandum of understanding (MoU) with. Adamas University, West Bengal. Two institutions have jointly initiated interdisciplinary training of students of Geography and Biotechnology. The joint program has already conducted summer internship of the students in the Indian Sundarbans and started working on the joint MSc dissertation projects of the students of the two institutions.

The foundation has memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Chandernagore College, West Bengal. Two institutions have jointly initiated the project ‘Know your Ganges’ which is an interdisciplinary program involving departs such as Botany, Zoology, Chemistry and Environmental Science and Geography. Under the program faculties and students of both the institutions are conducting regular monitoring of a stretch of Ganges river which is running besides the Chandernagore College. The program has also conducted hands-on training of students of water quality and plankton. Workshops are hosted jointly by both the institutions for students on statistical analysis of environmental data. Further ventures include conceiving field and lab training of students of both the institutions.
