His paper on the Perspectives of Cyclone Research Programme on estuaries in the UN Ocean Decade was awarded as the best scientific paper in the Science Congress, 2024 conducted by Department of Science and Technology and Biotechnology, Govt. of West Bengal at Science City, Kolkata, India.
