Celebrating ECSF’s Ocean Literacy Program Success: In December, 2023, our Ocean Literacy Coordinator Debarati Sengupta had the privilege of attending the ‘International Symposium of the United Nations Regular Process on strengthening the ocean science-policy interface’ at IOC-UNESCO Headquarters in Paris. A thought-provoking event that brought together experts and stakeholders from around the world. The two-day event was filled with insightful presentations, engaging panel discussions and fruitful networking opportunities. Participants shared their experiences, successes, and challenges in achieving the UN Ocean Decade goals and explored innovative solutions to accelerate progress. Convocation of the 1st Science Hands-On batch will take place on 21st May, 2022.
The convocation ceremony of the first batch of the Science Hands-On course will be taking place on the 21st of May at ECSF. Prof. SK Raut (Bhatnagar Awardee), Dr. Sougata Roy Choudhury (Immunologist) and Mr. Chayan Chakraborty (WBCS) would be attending as the chief guests of the event.
