ECSF signed MoU with Shri Shikshayatan College

The foundation has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Shri Shikshayatan College of University of Calcutta on 12th August, 2024. The purpose was to develop joined academic, research and outreach programs in future on the occasion of the MoU ceremony students, scientists and faculty members of both the institutions were present. On the occasion the ECSF director Dr. Sourav Paul said, “we are happy to be a partner organization of the Shri Shikshayatan College, and the alumni of this college have also represented the foundation on various research and academic platforms, this MoU would open up further opportunities for constructive academic environment for young people. On the occasion the Teacher in charge Dr. Papia Chaudhury also encouraged the partnership between the institution which initially was initiated by the Geography wings of both the foundation and the college.

ECSF-BU International workshop on Ecosystem Modeling

Foundation along with the Berhampur University conducted a one day International workshop on Ecosystem Modeling on 22 July 2024 where Dr. Sachinandan Dutta of Sultan Qaboos University of Oman was engaged as a resource person. The workshop was attended by MSc and PhD students of different institutions of India along with faculty members. Dr. Tamaghna Acharyya and Dr. Sourav Paul jointly coordinated the workshop.

ECSF conducted soil workshop at Dr. Kanailal Bhattacharya College, Howrah

The foundation has conducted a one day hands-on workshop on soil science at the Dr. Kanailal Bhattacharya College, West Bengal. Dr. Arunodaya Gautam demonstrated different parameters of soil science to the students and faculty members of the college. The occasion was graced by dignitaries, principal and other faculty members of the college.
