Dr. Sourav Paul placed his opinion on the potential of blue economy in Indian Sundarbans stressing on geomorphology, cyclones, embankment, tourism, Mangrove and sustainable accounting processes to prepare a roadmap of blue economy in Indian Sundarbans. He delivered his lecture on 25 February 2024 at a workshop hosted by NIAS and MoES, India at the NIAS, Bengaluru.

P. Choudhury Memorial Event held at Sri Shiskhyatan College, Kolkata on 22 February 2024. He delivered his lecture on 12 February 2024 at the international conference hosted jointly by RKMVERI and the School of Oceanographic Studies, Jadavpur University.
