Debarati Sengupta is congratulated for presenting her YECS research project in the SOLAS 2024 international conference held at NIO, Goa. The foundation has jointly organised a one day Seminar jointly with Adamas University and West Bengal chapter of NYCC. The seminar was attended by more then 250 students and faculties, scientists, and community practitioners. Held at Adamas University on 28 October 2024, the event was coordinated by Debarati Sengupta the ocean literacy focal point of the ECSF and Chaired by Dr. Sourav Paul, Director of ECSF.

This recognition is a testament to her outstanding work in promoting ocean climate literacy and empowering young people to take action. The foundation has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Shri Shikshayatan College of University of Calcutta on 12th August, 2024. The purpose was to develop joined academic, research and outreach programs in future on the occasion of the MoU ceremony students, scientists and faculty members of both the institutions were present. On the occasion the ECSF director Dr. Sourav Paul said, “we are happy to be a partner organization of the Shri Shikshayatan College, and the alumni of this college have also represented the foundation on various research and academic platforms, this MoU would open up further opportunities for constructive academic environment for young people. On the occasion the Teacher in charge Dr. Papia Chaudhury also encouraged the partnership between the institution which initially was initiated by the Geography wings of both the foundation and the college.
