ECSF Director Dr. Sourav Paul had been invited in the 2nd international Seminar on Innovative approaches in Geographical Research: Exploring new dimensions to sustainable development held by Rampurhat College on 29-30 November 2024. He delivered his perspectives on bridging the academia with NGOs in the session ‘Geography in Action Research: Bridging Academia to NGOs’. The program was attended by renowned academicians of the country, administrators, scholars , students and other NGO personnel.

The foundation has jointly organised a one day Seminar jointly with Adamas University and West Bengal chapter of NYCC. The seminar was attended by more then 250 students and faculties, scientists, and community practitioners. Held at Adamas University on 28 October 2024, the event was coordinated by Debarati Sengupta the ocean literacy focal point of the ECSF and Chaired by Dr. Sourav Paul, Director of ECSF.
